Your submissions are listed on this page. Most students will have only one submission listed.

Check the status of your submission
The current status of your submission is displayed beneath its title and the system-assigned ID.
- Submission in ProgressYou have saved a draft of your submission, but need to submit it to your graduate school for review.
- Ready for checklist/Ready for decisionYour graduate school administrator is in the process of reviewing your submission. You will receive an email when they have finished reviewing. The checklist helps the administrator ensure that your submission is accurate and complete. When the administrator completes the checklist, your submission is ready for a decision.
- Ready for deliveryYour submission has been reviewed and approved by your graduate school administrator. It is now ready to be delivered to ProQuest/UMI where it will be published.
- Needs RevisionsThe administrator has found missing or incorrect information in your submission. The administrator may describe the revisions as minor or major. You will receive an email listing the necessary revisions.
- Delivered to ProQuest/UMIYour submission has been sent to ProQuest/UMI for publishing.
- Published by ProQuest/UMICongratulations! If you have not places any restrictions on your work, your dissertation or thesis will now be available to researchers around the world through ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Database. Note: if you have placed restrictions on your work, the abstract is available now in Proquest Dissertations & Theses, and your work will be disseminated as directed by you in the publishing agreement.
Continue working on your submission
If you have not completed your submission, a Continue Submission button is displayed. Click the button to complete your submission.
Revise your submission
- If your submission can be revised, a Revise button is displayed. Click the button to make changes to your dissertation/thesis and resubmit.
- As you make revisions, click the Save Changes button(s) at the bottom of each screen to move from one step to the next.
- When you have finished making all of your revisions, click Submit Revisions. A confirmation page will display, showing your submission details. If everything is correct, click the Submit Revisions button.
- Note: you must click the Submit Revisions button for your revisions to be submitted and for your administrator to be notified of the update(s)
- When you click Revise, you can change the information you specified when you submitted your ETD, including uploading a new PDF. You will also have access to the following links:
- View decisionsView a list of all decisions made about your submission by your graduate school administrator(s).
- View revision historyView the list of all revisions made to your submission.
- Email administratorSend a message to the graduate school ETD administrator assigned to your submission.
- Withdraw this submissionUse only if you want to completely withdraw your submission. If you withdraw your submission and create a new one, all of your information will need to be re-entered and your manuscript will receive a new submission date. If you simply need to make changes to your submission (even if they are major revisions) we recommend revising your current submission.
- If you want to revise your submission, but the Revise button is not displayed, contact your graduate school administrator for advice on how to proceed.
- If your submission has already been delivered to ProQuest/UMI, contact Dissertations Support.
View your submission
Click View to display and review your submission information.
Withdraw this submission
Use this option with caution. Click Withdraw this submission only if you want to completely cancel your submission. If you need to make changes to your submission, submit revisions to it instead. If you have any questions on whether to withdraw your submission, please contact your school administrator for advice.
